Answers to the questions Roomvia actually raises — searching, listing, review, plans and your account.

Searching and Explore

Finding a space, the map, location and what is shown publicly.

How do I search near me?
Explore has a location field with a “Near me” control that asks your browser for permission. Nothing is shared until you grant it, and declining leaves the search exactly as it was — you can type a town, city or postcode instead. Distance is shown in the unit that belongs to the market you are searching.
Why do residential listings not show an exact address?
Because publishing one would put somebody's home address on a public page. A residential listing shows the area it is in and an approximate point on the map; the exact address is agreed with the host directly. Professional spaces are businesses and can show a precise location where the host has provided one.
The map and the list show different things — which is right?
They cannot: Explore renders the same result set in both, from the same search. If a listing is missing from one it is missing from both, which usually means it falls outside the current filters or the area the map is showing.
Can I save a listing or a search?
Not yet. Saved listings and saved searches are dashboard features that have not been built, and the pages for them say so rather than storing something that would quietly disappear. Use your browser’s bookmarks in the meantime — every listing and every filtered Explore result has its own address.

Listing a space

Creating a listing, review, publication and later changes.

How do I list a space?
Create an account, then start a listing from your dashboard. You pick the category first, because that decides what you are asked: a residential room and a treatment room need different details. The form saves as you go, so you can leave it and come back.
What happens after I submit a listing?
A moderator reviews it against Roomvia's rules before it can appear in search. You will see the outcome on the listing in your dashboard: approved, or a request for specific changes with the reason given. Nothing is published without passing that review.
My listing was approved but is not on Roomvia. Why?
Approval and publication are separate. A listing goes live when it is approved and it has an active plan with a free slot. The listing page in your dashboard says exactly which of those is missing, and links to the thing that fixes it.
Can I change a listing that is already live?
Price and availability change immediately and your listing stays live. Changing the title, description or photos needs another quick review — your current version stays online while that happens, so a correction never takes the listing off the site.
Can I take a listing off Roomvia?
Yes — archive it from the listing's page in your dashboard. It stops being public immediately and gives back the listing allowance it was using, and you can still see it yourself. Pausing a listing temporarily and putting it back is a different thing, and that one is not built yet; archiving is the option Roomvia actually has today.

Plans, billing and payments

What Roomvia charges for, and what it deliberately does not.

What am I paying for?
Listing slots. A plan gives you a number of live listings in a family — residential or professional — and is billed as a monthly recurring subscription until you cancel it. Pricing shows the current plans and what each one includes.
Does Roomvia take rent, deposits or commission?
No. Roomvia's only charge is the listing plan a host buys. Rent, deposits, session fees and anything else are agreed and paid directly between the host and the person renting. Anyone claiming to take a rent payment through Roomvia is not genuine.
How do I cancel?
From Billing in your dashboard, through the payment provider's own portal. Cancelling stops the renewal; the plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. Your listings are not deleted when it ends — they stop being publicly visible and stay in your dashboard to edit or republish later.
Where are my invoices?
Under Billing → Invoices in your dashboard. Every charge Roomvia has made appears there with its date, amount and status.

Your account

Passwords, two-factor, organisations and closing an account.

How do I reset my password?
Use Reset password. The link that arrives by email can be used once and expires; if it has already been used, request another rather than reusing the old one.
Can I add two-factor authentication?
Yes — under Account → Security. Roomvia supports an authenticator app. Keep your recovery codes somewhere separate from the device that generates the codes.
I list on behalf of a business. Do I need a separate account?
No, and you should not create one. Roomvia has a single account per person; an organisation is something your account belongs to, with its own listings, plan and invoices. Set one up under Account → Organisation, and switch between personal and organisation listings with the filter on your listings page. Adding colleagues to an organisation is not self-serve yet — contact us and we will add them.
How do I close my account?
Contact us. Self-serve account closure is not built yet, and rather than offer a button that raises no request, Roomvia asks you to write to a person who can confirm what will happen to your listings and your subscription first.

Still stuck?

Roomvia does not have a ticketing system yet, so there is no form here that would raise one. Contact Roomvia lists the addresses that reach a person, and what to include so the answer comes back in one reply rather than three.
